What this industry taught me
Architecture and design firms live and die by how well the finished work is documented and presented. From electrical build-outs with Energy Electrical Contractors to custom cabinetry with Village Cabinet Design, I learned that the spaces these teams shape are the marketing asset, but only if the imagery, video, and storytelling do them justice. Decision makers are visual buyers, and they need to feel the craft before they sign.
How I tackled it
I embedded with crews on active jobsites and inside the cabinet shop, captured cinematic process and finished-space content with drones, gimbals, and multi-angle setups, and built a consistent brand system around it. For EEC that meant a 26 Fundamentals content engine, CEO-voiced video, and a cross-department newsletter. For Village Cabinet Design it meant a full digital presence, seasonal promo design, and templated workflows that removed CEO-to-marketing friction.
Why I love this work
Architecture and design is one of the most photogenic verticals on the planet. Every project is a portfolio piece; a finished room, a lit warehouse, a custom kitchen. The right content turns each one into a recruiting tool, a sales asset, and a culture statement all at once. You can literally point at the work and say, 'I helped tell that story.'
The most underrated play
Process content is criminally underused by architecture and design firms. Most companies only post the glossy reveal shot. The brands that win show the build: time-lapses of the install, drone footage over an active site, the cabinet maker's hands at the bench, the foreman walking the punch list. Pair that with a templated content system and a quarterly newsletter so leadership, operations, and sales all stay aligned around the same story.
